Forge PT

About Forge PT

Four coaches. One waitlist. No shortcuts.

Independent coaching in London has been gradually replaced by class-pass. Class-pass is profitable. It is not particularly effective for people trying to solve a structural problem, chronic back pain, return-to-sport after surgery, building strength after forty, because a rotation of instructors with no written programme cannot produce adaptation. You get sweaty, not stronger.

Forge was founded in 2019 by two coaches who had worked the rotation model for a decade and walked away from it. We are four coaches, capped membership, four racks, three reformers, and one waitlist. Nothing else.

Strength floor, squat racks, dumbbell wall, warm industrial lighting

Regulation

Who regulates us.

Every coach is registered with CIMSPA, the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity, which sets the professional standard for coaching in the UK. Coaches with a physiotherapy background maintain separate registration with HCPC where applicable. Reformer coaches are certified through Polestar or Stott. Our professional indemnity and public liability insurance is held with Insure4Sport.

Every coach holds a current Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, renewed every three years. Complaints can be raised with us directly or escalated to CIMSPA. In six years we have had two formal complaints, both resolved in full. We will tell you about them if you ask.
